News: Colors Clearance and Progress Update in July

Newsletter

July is nearing a close! Only another two months before it gets cool enough to walk outside without my fire tunic and megaton hammer! It’s Glenn with a progress update regarding the last news post, so be sure to read that first if you haven't yet!

Co-Kan Colors
Introducing the Co-Kan Colors program! As mentioned in the last news post, we’re changing the way we offer colors.

  • Black, cream, and pink will always be available for all bags.
  • Each bag will have 2 rotating, limited edition, exclusive colors.
  • The limited edition colors will be cleared after a certain timeframe to make way for the next round.
  • We will begin rolling out this system on the Affectuator first, the new colors should be out middle of next month.

The plan is that there should be something different and exciting each time you visit the site. This will also allow us more creative freedom for things like multi-colored bags and the like. There will be a lot of trial and error at first, but we’ll eventually have a calendar page so that you can see what we’re planning.

Affectuator Backpack Color Clearance
We need to make room for our two new Affectuator colors! What are the two new colors? You’ll have to wait and see. ┬━┬ノ(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿ノ)

With that said, mint blue and light blue Affectuator base backpacks are now on clearance for 30% off and their starter kits are on sale for 20% off! When they’re gone, they’re gone! 7/23 Update: They're gone! Thanks everyone!

OTB Tote & Messenger Color Clearance
After we introduce Co-Kan colors to the Affectuator, we’ll begin doing the same with the Tote and Messenger OTBs. Stay tuned!

Clasp Chain Clearance
As mentioned in the last news post, we're gradually phasing out clasp color hanging chains. This will greatly simplify our supply chain allowing us to focus more time and resources on more interesting things. Remember, we assemble the chains ourselves by hand!

The transition will go like this:

  • For the entire month of August, all clasp hanging chains will be half off.
  • During August, your ita bag may come with a hoop or a clasp chain, depending on what we have in stock.
  • Starting September 1st, clasp color chains will be removed from the store and bags will come with hoop chains.

We plan on making the clasp chain components available in the future via DIY chain assembly kits.

Stock Issues
A quick thank you & apology to everybody who has been using the Notify Me feature on out of stock items. We’re going through some big changes here and have been hard at work getting everything back in!

Flockers on the Homepage
Keeping in the spirit of having something different and exciting each time you visit the site, we’re now featuring Co-Kan flockers directly on our homepage.

If you’d like to be on our homepage, contact us! We need clear, HD photos of you with your Co-Kan stuff! We’re currently building the next 3-panel.

More Satisfaction, More Guarantee
As mentioned in the last news post, the new 90 day 125% money back guarantee is live!

Website Update & Coo-Kun’s New Lady Friend
They grow up so fast. We’ve also changed our iconography and layout around a little.

And that’s all the news I have to share with you this month! Thanks for reading!

Until next time,

— Glenn from the Co-Kan Flock ▲

These were our most requested blogs, and I hope you like them! A few customers helped me write them with their feedback - you’re all awesome! As always, leave us a comment on them if they’re missing something!
